Health & Safety

    The Health & Safety Act 1974 stipulates that employers must protect the health, safety and welfare of all their staff.  It is important to have proceedures for identifying workplace hazards and reducing accidents and exposure to harmful situations and substances.  It also includes training of personnel in accident preventation, accident response, emergency preparedness and the use of protective clothing and equipment.
